Senior Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Engineer in Høglund you will get the opportunity to be responsible for projects taken over from sales until delivery of the product. This offers a varied, exciting, and educational working atmosphere. You will be a part of a flexible and agile organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects by effectively managing all stakeholders, maintaining seamless communication with both internal and external parties, including as customers, class, yards and subcontractors, as well as the internal engineering team
• Responsible for delivering high quality projects in a timely manner, and according to the specified requirements and cost
• Coordinating use of resources and cooperation with other departments
• Design and engineering work for various applications and products
• Engage in PLC Programming and HMI design
• Contributing to the quality control, documentation and good workflow in the engineering department
• Communication and fieldbus within automation
• Prepare for and participate in IAT, FAT and on-site testing/commissioning

Qualifications:

• University degree in Engineering (Electro / Automation / other relevant)
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience with maritime automation and power systems
• Knowledge and understanding of control system functionality, hardware, and system
• Proactive and self-propelled workstyle
• Systematic and problem-solving work approach
• Good working proficiency in written and spoken English language
• Dedicated commitment and team player
• Good communicator with a positive mind-set
• Good to tackle high workload
