Service Coordinator
Every service job has a hundred moving parts. As Service Coordinator, you're the one who makes sure none of them get dropped.
As Service Coordinator, you are the operational hub of our Aftermarket & Service team. You ensure structured handling of incoming service requests, coordinate the right resources, keep customers informed, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You work closely with Service Engineers, KAMs, Project Managers, and Supply Chain — keeping everyone aligned and operations running smoothly.
Your main responsibilities
Service coordination
Receive and manage incoming service requests from the service mailbox and customer channels
Coordinate and assign service engineers for remote support and field service
Ensure efficient planning and prioritization of service activities
Communication & follow-up
Act as the primary coordinator for customer communication in ongoing service matters, ensuring clear follow-up and alignment across internal teams.
Provide timely, clear updates on status, availability, and progress
Follow up open requests until they are closed; coordinate certificate renewals for service engineers
Operational planning
Maintain a clear overview of ongoing service activities and resource allocation
Support prioritization of tasks and resources during high-workload periods
Ensure alignment between customer needs, agreed priorities, and available capacity
Administrative & commercial support
Support preparation of quotations, order handling, invoicing input, and service documentation
Ensure that service engineers complete time registration, travel costs, and expense reporting in line with defined routines
Support KAMs in quotation preparation for service and travel-related tasks
Process & continuous improvement
Contribute to structured handling and tracking of service activities
Support implementation of routines and best practices across the service function
Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to workflows and processes
What you bring
Experience in coordination, operations, or administration — ideally in a technical or maritime environment
Strong organisational skills — you keep multiple balls in the air and rarely drop one
Clear and professional communicator, comfortable handling customer contact directly
Proactive by nature — you take ownership, see what needs doing and do it without waiting to be asked
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a busy, global team
Proficiency in standard office tools and service management systems
Fluency in English; Norwegian is an advantage
